The quickest way to start is a call, a text or an email to (604) 632-4959 or Ali@Sedighi.ca. You'll reach Ali Sedighi directly, not a call centre. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9 to 6 Pacific, which is noon to 9 pm in Ontario, and we usually reply within one business day.

Three ways to reach us
Call (604) 632-4959. Best if you'd like to talk through your idea and hear an opinion straight away. If we can't answer, leave a short message with your name and a good time to call you back.
Text (604) 632-4959. Good for a first message when you're busy. Send a couple of lines about what you're starting and where, and we'll reply by text or arrange a call.
Email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Best when you have something to share: a list of name ideas, a draft logo, a link to a test website or a rough marketing budget. Attachments and links help us give a useful answer in the first reply.
There's no form, booking widget or chat window on this site. A real person reads every message.
What to include in your first message
You don't need a business plan. A few lines covering these points is enough:
- What you're starting: the product or service, in one or two sentences.
- Where: the city or region in Ontario, and whether you'll serve customers at their address, at your location or online.
- Your stage: idea only, name chosen, registered, website live, or already trading.
- What you'd like help with: naming, brand, a launch website, a launch plan, or not sure yet.
- A rough budget or timeline, if you have one.
A simple template you can copy:
Hi Ali, I'm starting [type of business] in [City]. I'm at the [idea / named / registered / trading] stage. I'd like help with [what you need]. My rough budget is [amount or "not sure"] and I'd like to launch by [month].
What happens next
- We reply, usually within one business day, to arrange a free 30-minute conversation at a time that suits you.
- We talk it through. On the call we'll ask about your customer, your area and your numbers, and tell you honestly which stage to tackle first, even if the answer is something you can do yourself.
- You get a written scope. If you want to go ahead, we send a short proposal with the stages, timeline and price range. Nothing starts until you agree to it, and there's no lock-in.
What we'll ask on the first call
It helps to think about these before we talk, though rough answers are fine:
- Who is your first customer, as specifically as you can describe them?
- What would a typical first sale or job be worth?
- Where in Ontario will you work in year one, and where might you go in year two?
- What have you already decided, and what are you still unsure about?
- How much of the work do you want to do yourself?
There are no wrong answers. If you don't know your numbers yet, we'll help you estimate them, and if your idea is still taking shape, the call will help you sharpen it.
Before you get in touch: two free resources
If you haven't yet, it's worth looking at two public resources. Ontario's start-a-business guide sets out the official steps, and the province's list of Small Business Enterprise Centres shows where to get free local guidance. We're happy to work alongside both.
A note on privacy and messages
We use your contact details only to reply to you and to carry on the conversation you started. We don't add you to a mailing list or send marketing messages you haven't asked for. The site's privacy page explains how contact details are handled.

Frequently asked questions
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. The initial 30-minute consultation is free and there's no obligation to continue afterwards.
Should I call, text or email?
Whichever suits you. Text is handy for a quick first message from a job site or between meetings; email is better if you want to send name ideas, a draft website link or a plan to review.
What if I haven't decided on anything yet?
That's a perfectly good time to get in touch. A short conversation at the idea stage can save you from registering a name or commissioning a logo you'll later regret.
Can I stay anonymous until I'm ready?
Yes. You don't need to share your planned company name in a first message if you'd rather not. Describe the type of business and the area, and we can talk in general terms first.
